BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Aids food digestion particularly after heavy meals rich in fats and proteins. Its draining action on the skin may be beneficial for some skin disorders like cellulite and for helping the healing of scar tissue. In fact, the substances in pineapple increase the permeability of the blood vessel walls and so encourage the re-entry of edemas to the vascular bed, reducing their negative effects on various organs and improving microcirculation, the lack of which is the main cause of cellulite. For cellulite treatment, it is recommended that pineapple extract be taken for long periods of time (at least 3-4 consecutive months).

SIDE EFFECTS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS:

No noticeable side effects or contraindications.  It can also be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding and may be given to children of 3-4 years old.
