Helps to protect the liver from damage caused by drugs and toxic substances and encourages liver production of protein and new cells. These benefits for the liver are mainly due to the ability of this plant to combat free radicals and the damage they can cause to the liver cells themselves.

This positive effect on the liver also produces a slight lowering of total cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It is probably one of the best liver aids that nature puts at our disposal.
