Acne generally occurs during adolescence as variably numerous big pimples with a white-yellowish top mainly on the face and back.
Acne pimples create because some bacteria in the skin enter the sebaceous glands whose function is to produce fat (also called sebum) to keep the skin softer and more elastic, and infect them, causing inflammation and the production of small quantities of pus.
These pimples generally break and almost often disappear within a week. Acne is favoured by hormonal imbalances, unhealthy diet and genetic factors.
Taking good skin care by using specific products. Follow a high-fibre diet -especially from vegetables, fruit and whole food- low in saturated fats. Drink at least 1.5 litres of water per day.
